They say as you get older you don’t need as much sleep. It seems to me that as we get older we have more trouble sleeping – not that we don’t need as much sleep.
The ‘sleep system’ is no longer available but I found a couple that will help with sleep.
Sleep Enhancing Sheet Set
This is the bedding made from a patented fabric clinically proven to counteract the afflictions that can rob one of a good night’s sleep.
The sheet’s silky sateen fibers are interwoven with strands of Celliant, a yarn enhanced with titanium dioxide—a light absorbing mineral—that converts released body heat into therapeutic infrared light that is reabsorbed back into the skin.
This safe, invisible energy reduces pain, boosts blood-oxygen levels, and improves temperature control, helping to counteract the chronic aches, inflammation, and night sweats that can impede sleep.
In a clinical study at University of California, Irvine Medical Center, subjects using Celliant bedding fell asleep 18.3 minutes faster and received a more restful sleep.
The soft bedding feels cool against the skin, and the Celliant will not wash out or diminish with wear. The fabric also is enhanced with naturally-antimicrobial silver particles.

Travel Sleep Sound Generator
This is the easy-to-carry device that plays soothing sounds to help you drift off to sleep whether in a hotel room, on an airplane, or at home.
Designed in conjunction with world-renowned Neuro-acoustic expert Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, the generator comes pre-loaded with 19 digital sounds recorded in the field, such as ocean surf, spring rain, song birds, and bamboo chimes. By blocking disruptive background noise, the unit encourages relaxation and can help reset the body’s internal clock to combat jet lag.
The sound generator can be set to run continuously, or with three timed settings (30, 60, or 90 minutes) that gradually decrease its volume. More than a sleep aid, the device is a full-featured alarm clock with snooze button, calendar, voice memo recorder, and back-lit LCD that switches from home to travel time at the push of a button.
